The Fairfield 19.99 Re-Pack
After having so much fun with the $7.99 Fairfield re-pack, I decided to try this $19.99 repack.
20 packs plus one hit
2 – 2014 Retail Panini Contenders
4 – 2014 Retail Score
2 – 2013 Retail Hit High Series
4 – 2012 Upper Deck University of Alabama
2 – 1990 Fleer
2 – 2013 Retail Panini Prizm
3 – 2013 Retail Panini Prestige
1 – 2015 Topps Retail Jumbo Pack
One Hit was not so great…. I’ve heard some people get lucky and grab some nice stuff here, but I was pretty disappointed.
SPx Super Scripts 2008 – #SSS50 Xavier Adibi
4 packs of 2014 Score led to the following inserts
2 packs of Contender (One Insert and one Buffalo Bill, before he was in Buffalo)
2 packs of Retail Hit (High Series). Next Level Eddie Lacy and Next Level Jordan Rodgers (Nice shirtless photo, hahahaha!)
1990 Fleer (taking me back to being a kid again). Ronnie Lott All-Pro Insert and one Buffalo Bill (Art Still, who I have a signed card from when I was in Middle School)
The 2 Prizm packs led me to a couple of nice Bills. A base rookie of Robert Woods and an HRK of EJ Manual (I know, I know)
The Alabama Upper Deck Cards were kind of cool to see, nothing special, here are couple of examples of cards from the set. Julio Jones and Dwight Stephenson.
The Topps pack let to a couple of nice pulls. A Todd Gurley base rookie, a Javorius Allen SP rookie Card, and a Sammie Coates 60th Anniversary insert.
And here are a couple of inserts in the Prestige packs. Including another Buffalo player.
Kind of nice to pull from different packs to see if there is anything you really want to collect but not as fun (or cheap) as the smaller repack box. And the guaranteed hit was of a player who is out of the NFL. Probably not worth the 20 bucks other than to have some fun and maybe complete a set you are working on. I think I’m going back to Hobby and Retail packs instead of the Re-Pack. At least for a while…
