Today the July Loot Locker came in the mail.  I somehow was able to let it sit for about 4 hours before I opened it up. Four packs 2015 Panini Contenders (x2) 2015 Topps Platinum 2016 Panini Classics 2015 Panini Contenders 2015 Panini Contenders #188 – Championship Ticket – Brandon Scherff 2015 Panini Contenders #MVP10 – MVP Contenders – Cam Newton 2015 Topps Platinum Patrick Peterson #12 (Veteran Base) Jimmy Graham #58 (Veteran Base) Clay Matthews #61 (Veteran Base) Andrus Peat #124 (Rookie Base) Andrew Luck #40 (Gold) The four base cards added to my duplicates (with no Bills) and the Gold Andrew Luck was not one that I need to complete that set. 2015 Panini Classics This is my first up close look at the “New” Classics from Panini.  Couple of interesting cards in there and they have that old school feel of cardboard.  The one thing I really like about set is that there is a Jim Kelly card (and short print) in the checklist.  I might be picking up a few more packs of this in the future. It’s been a few days since I posted. I was visiting family and wanted to spend some time with them instead of sitting at the laptop or opening up a few more packs of cards. But once I got back I couldn’t wait to crack open a few packs. I had four packs of 2014 Panini Rookies and Stars free from a purchase at Dave and Adam’s Card World a while back. Here’s some of the highlights. Some Stars… I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I really liked the look of the cards, until I turned them over. Great front design, not so great back design.  It’s the same photo and it looks like a lot of other Panini sets. And some of the rookies, no big pull, but I always like to see a Johnny Football. Now each pack comes with an insert. As with most Panini sets there are about 20 different insert sets. I did it again.  I thought I’d take another crack at a football repack.  I’ve seen some people have some pretty good luck online but I’m still skeptical.  It was a decent price and came with 4 packs of cards plus one autograph card and one jersey card. Here’s what I pulled. After having so much fun with the $7.99 Fairfield re-pack, I decided to try this $19.99 repack. 20 packs plus one hit 2 – 2014 Retail Panini Contenders 4 – 2014 Retail Score 2 – 2013 Retail Hit High Series 4 – 2012 Upper Deck University of Alabama 2 – 1990 Fleer 2 – 2013 Retail Panini Prizm 3 – 2013 Retail Panini Prestige 1 – 2015 Topps Retail Jumbo Pack One Hit was not so great….  I’ve heard some people get lucky and grab some nice stuff here, but I was pretty disappointed. When I was at my local Target I picked up a Fairfield Company Repack box. It only cost $7.99 and comes with 4 random packs (2013 Prizm is shown through the packaging) and 50 cards. It promises no hits. It came with the following 4 retail packs. 2014 Panini Contenders, 2014 Score, 2013 Score, 2013 Panini Prizm Not a lot to report. Not that I was expecting a lot. I especially like the William Perry Wild Card. Here is a good example of the variety of cards in the 50 card box. And here are the 2 Buffalo Bills cards that I pulled. A Topps rookie of Marcus Easley and an Upper Deck Lee Evans. And a nice Cam Newton Topps Rookie. After opening the packs there was nothing huge to report.
